EVAN WILLIAMS

When Evan Williams was born on December 6, 1897, in Pennsylvania, his father, John Edward Williams, , was 40 and his mother, Mary Katherine McDonald, was 20. He married Gertrude Moon in 1917 in Marion, West Virginia. They had 11 children in 18 years. He died in February 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware, at the age of 74, and was buried in New Castle, Delaware.
