LANCASTER FAMILY

When Richard Lancaster and his twin sister Jane were born in 1567 in Rainhill, Lancashire, England, their father, Thomas, was 25, and their mother, Margaret, was 21. He married Margaret Doumbell on November 26, 1593. He died in 1616 in Little Bardfield, Essex, England, at the age of 49. He was my 11th grandfather. and the ancestor of Mary McDonald my 2nd grandmother who married John Williams.

When Sir Roger Lord Barton Lancaster was born in 1220, his father, Gilbert, was 58 and his mother, HAWISE, was 51. He married Lady Philippa De Bolebec on October 23, 1262. He died on April 18, 1291, in Stansted, Kent, England, at the age of 71.
