GEORGE WILLIAM CASTLE
When George William Castle was born in 1836 in Maryland, his father, James, was 29 and his mother, Mary, was 14. He married Melvina Shafter in 1867 in Monongalia, West Virginia when he was 31 years old. They had two children during their marriage. He had nine brothers and five sisters.
