VIRGIL MARION WHALEY

When Virgil Marion Whaley was born on April 20, 1898, his father, James, was 38 and his mother, Sarah, was 36. He married Lucy Ellen Kirk in 1916 in Davy, West Virginia when he was 18 years old. They had seven children in 10 years and one child, Jennie, died when she was very young. He died on January 19, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 70.
